TS-SCAN 40113 BP Conveyor X-Ray Scanner for Cargo Inspection — DIAGNOSTIKA-M LLC

The TS-SCAN 40113 BP is a purpose-built single-projection tunnel-type conveyor X-ray scanner developed and manufactured by DIAGNOSTIKA-M LLC, a Moscow-based Russian company specializing in X-ray security inspection systems for airports, customs services, and law enforcement. This model is specifically engineered for screening airline service trolleys and half-trolleys — the wheeled galley carts used to deliver catering to aircraft — including their full contents of food, beverages, and onboard power supply equipment.

A specially designed U-shaped line detector achieves complete cross-sectional coverage of each trolley as it passes through the 450 × 1,130 mm tunnel opening on the conveyor belt. The X-ray generator operates at up to 200 kV with a tube current of up to 1.5 mA, achieving 42 mm steel penetration and a guaranteed wire resolution of 0.1 mm (38 AWG).

Dual-energy imaging automatically color-codes scanned objects by effective atomic number, and the operator workstation offers material separation display, organic/inorganic stripping, edge enhancement, high-density alerts, and up to 32× zoom. Automatic motorized shutters replace conventional lead curtains at the tunnel entrance and exit, reducing inspection cycle time and enabling smooth, damage-free passage of tall wheeled carts.

An integrated AI recognition system — trained on a library of more than five million images of weapons and explosives captured from multiple angles — identifies dangerous items both as complete objects and as individual components, while correctly disregarding mass-dimensional replicas. The accompanying software is listed in the official Russian software registry.

DIAGNOSTIKA-M backs the system with a minimum 1-year warranty and extends coverage to 3 years for the X-ray source and control unit, with lifecycle contracts available for up to 7 years.
