The OPG-4000/27MK is a trailer-mounted boom sprayer in Gvarta-Agro's Gvarta-7 series, engineered to meet modern demands for field crop protection equipment. Gvarta-Agro LLC is a Russian manufacturer focused exclusively on agricultural spraying machinery and accessories, with the Gvarta-7 line representing the company's current flagship for large-scale arable farming.
The machine was designed with special emphasis on frame and boom structural integrity, hydraulic system reliability, quality atomization, and precise electronic dosing. A standout feature is the fully autonomous hydraulic circuit — the sprayer operates independently of the tractor's hydraulics, ensuring broad compatibility across any class-2 tractor.
The 4,000-liter main tank paired with a 350-liter clean-water auxiliary tank supports extended runs without frequent refills. The 27.5-meter boom (measured center-to-center at outer nozzles) lifts via a parallelogram mechanism with a central hydraulic cylinder and damper, with height adjustable from 0.5 to 1.7 m above the crop.
A pendulum suspension with springs and shock absorbers stabilizes the boom over uneven terrain. Spray control is electronic: the system continuously maintains the programmed application rate (50–500 L/ha) regardless of ground speed changes.
The five-section boom carries three-position injector nozzle bodies on stainless steel tubes, supplied with three nozzle sets in sizes 03, 04, and 05. Five-stage filtration and dual hydraulic in-tank agitators (combined 680 L/min) keep the spray solution uniform.
Working productivity reaches 25–33 ha per hour at operating speeds of 6–15 km/h, and the machine is offered in three control-system configurations up to full per-nozzle GPS management.
