DMK are designed to convert the applied force into a proportional electrical signal and are used as part of the station geological and technological research (GTI) to measure the torque of the force on the machine key when tightening threaded connections. It consists of the primary converter DST-5011 and electronic block BE 218 01.
The electronic block has a connector for connection to the system of registration and processing of information.
The primary converter DST-5011 converts the value of the cable tension force into a proportional electrical signal. DST-5011 is installed on the cable of the machine key without breaking the cable. The converter design unambiguously provides the required angle of deflection of the rope and thus guarantees the constancy of the conversion coefficient during mounting and dismounting operations, however, the error of measuring the rope tension force in this case, due to additional instrumental error, can reach ±5%.
