The stationary fire extinguishing system on ships (AOT) includes:
Fire extinguishing aerosol generators (FEA), the number of which is determined by calculation depending on the volume and characteristics of the protected premises.
The generators are started by sending an electrical impulse from the control and signalling unit of the aerosol fire extinguishing system BUS AOT to the AOT start unit.
Control and signalling unit (CU) designed for remote start of fire extinguishing aerosol generators, signal for ventilation shutdown and activation of notification about the forthcoming start of the AOT system;
Intermediate relay unit (IRU), designed to control ventilation and warning signalling in the protected room by commands from the BUS;
Connection boxes (CB), designed for wiring of cable routes of starting circuits of generators on the protected premises.
