Description

The 3T2KP is a high-precision optical theodolite manufactured by JSC PA UOMZ (Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant, Yekaterinburg, Russia) — part of the Shvabe Holding under Rostec State Corporation, one of Russia's leading defence-grade optics and instrumentation producers. The instrument is designed for measuring horizontal and vertical angles in the construction of industrial facilities, geodetic surveys, and astronomical-geodetic measurements.

It can also be used for geometric levelling with a horizontal beam. The 3T2KP achieves a mean quadratic error of no more than 2 arc-seconds for horizontal angles and 2.4 arc-seconds for vertical angles or zenith distances.

A 30× telescope with direct (erect) image provides sharp, comfortable viewing at minimum sighting distances from 1.5 m. The built-in compensator for the vertical circle — with a working range of ±3′ — enables fast, accurate measurements without manual levelling of the vertical circle at each station.
