The B-Block swimming starting block is a competition-grade platform designed and manufactured in Russia by Potemkin Engineering LLC, a specialist supplier of pool equipment built to FINA standards. The block is fabricated from AISI-316 stainless steel sourced from Germany, delivering superior resistance to chlorinated water without the need for restoration over the product's lifetime.
Its dynamic, ergonomic shape supports stable, powerful starts: the anti-slip platform surface provides full foot contact, and all edges are rounded for swimmer safety. A built-in false-start sensor is included as standard equipment, enabling direct connection to swimming timing systems so the block is ready for competitions at any level without additional hardware.
The adjustable footrest slides smoothly to six fixed positions, accommodating different body proportions and race-start techniques. An optional BSL-120 backstroke ledge, fully FINA-compliant, can be mounted to the rear of the platform via a universal bracket with 9 height positions adjustable in 10 mm increments.
Dimensions are 650 mm wide, 754 mm deep, and 674 mm tall, with a total weight of 75 kg. Installation uses the included anchor hardware for a secure, permanent poolside fit.
