The simulator is a three-layer manipulation platform made of polymeric materials that imitate epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous fatty tissue. The mentioned layers are colour-coded and by their mechanical properties are close to the natural values of the above tissues.
In the centre of the module, an atheroma with a diameter of 15 mm with all the signs characteristic of this disease, including purulent contents, is simulated.
The manipulation platform allows you to carry out:
incisions of different depths;
atheroma dissection and excision;
surgical suturing and knotting;
application of staples.
The simulator is intended for use in educational institutions of medical profile.
