The stubble disc cultivator KRD is designed for surface tillage to a depth of 15 cm, weed killing, levelling and loosening of the field surface.
The cultivator tines are prefabricated, with a working width of each tine of 395 mm, installed in three rows on a curved rigid stand. This allows the disc cultivator to be successfully used for cultivating stubble and fields with heavy weeds. All stands are equipped with safety shear bolts.
Wide side blades, mounted with a large angle of attack, ensure quality soil crumbling.
The implement is equipped with a double reinforced slat roller.
As a basic option, two rows of spring harrows are installed between the main working elements and the roller.
One row of discs is installed in front of the tines. Each disc is mounted strictly in the path of the tine leg. In this way, all long-stemmed plant residues that could linger on the tine bar are shredded and shifted to the side. In this case the discs make the work of the tines much easier. Consequently, the KRD stubble disc cultivator is significantly superior to the conventional stubble cultivator in terms of performance, passability and quality of work.
