The Sun Stream RSM SS-920 is a row-independent sunflower harvest header manufactured by АО "КЛЕВЕР" (Klever), a member of the Rostselmash Group and one of Russia's foremost agricultural equipment producers with a dealer and service network exceeding 100 partners across the country. Designed to maximise combine productivity regardless of row spacing, planting direction, or sunflower variety, the 920 series cuts a 9.2-metre swath and handles up to 13 rows at 70 cm interrow spacing.
Its architecture is deliberately lean — a single planetary gearbox, minimal drives, and no dedicated row dividers — keeping weight well below that of comparable row headers at the same working width, which means the header pairs effectively with mid-class grain combines while still delivering high throughput. The segment-and-finger cutting bar, driven through the planetary gearbox, provides reliable performance even under high-moisture conditions, and individual knife segments can be replaced without dismantling the entire cutter.
Working speed reaches up to 10 km/h, with cut height adjustable between 300 and 1,000 mm. Seed losses are rated at no more than 3 %, and independent test Protocol No.
01-89-18 recorded actual losses of just 0.7 %. The header holds a Certificate of Conformity valid through 2027 and is included in Russia's state agricultural-equipment subsidy programme.
Available modifications include the "U" version with a pulling shaft that reduces post-threshing grain moisture by up to 3 % and improves grain cleanliness, and the "I" version with an onboard chopper for accelerated crop residue decomposition.
