The Strong MD10 is a diesel-driven motopump built by PSM (ООО «Завод ПСМ») at its Krasny Bor plant for heavy-duty water transfer in demanding industrial and emergency conditions. At its heart is a Minsk Motor Plant MMZ D-245 diesel engine paired with an Italian-made Strong self-priming centrifugal pump, which PSM sources under a dedicated supply agreement and pre-verifies together with the Italian manufacturer before each delivery to Russia.
The unit delivers a flow range of 200–690 m³/h at heads between 14 and 39 metres running at a fixed speed of 1,800 rpm. Both suction and discharge flanges are 250 mm, and the pump handles dirty water carrying solid particles up to 70 mm in diameter as well as hot media up to 100 °C — capabilities that set it well apart from standard clean-water centrifugal units.
The assembly is mounted on a single reinforced open skid in UHL climate execution per GOST 15150-69, rated for ambient temperatures from −10 °C to +40 °C. PSM has produced the MD-series since 2009, refining the design over more than fifteen years of field experience in flood relief, quarry drainage, and irrigation.
Every unit undergoes mandatory performance testing on the company's in-house test bench before dispatch. The equipment is certified under TR TS 010/2011 (Eurasian machinery safety regulation) and manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality management.
