A sterile implantable product designed to replace the proximal femoral neck in total hip arthroplasty (THA). Typically, the product is made of metal [e.g., cobalt-chromium (Co-Cr), titanium (Ti), stainless steel] and coated with a material (e.g., porous materials, hydroxyapatite) that provides the best fixation and stability by promoting bone ingrowth. Horizontal and vertical grooves on the surface increase the contact area between the stem and the bone tissue, ensuring a reliable press-fit and primary rotational stability.
Universal design: the following types of modular necks are possible: anteversion, valgus, varus, straight, retroversion. The conical shape corresponds to the anatomy of the intramedullary canal. Implantation can be performed with or without bone cement.
