The SMZH-322B.03 reinforcing steel cutting machine is designed for cutting reinforcing steel with tensile strength ? 700 N/mm2 of nominal diameter ?40mm and nominal diameter ? 36mm with tensile strength ?850 N/mm2 at reinforced concrete factories and construction sites.
The machine design provides:
- single cuts;
- rolling cuts without stopping the rocker movement;
- control from a portable foot pedal.
The machine is driven by an electric motor via a V-belt drive and a flywheel. The torque is transmitted from the flywheel to the eccentric shaft by a two-stage gearbox with gears.
A key is used to connect the wheel with the eccentric shaft in the hub of which the coupling is located. The rotary motion of the eccentric shaft is converted by the connecting rod into a reciprocating motion of the rocker arm in which the knife is fixed.
