Produced by OJSC Gurevsky Metallurgical Plant (GMZ) — the oldest metallurgical enterprise in Siberia, founded in 1816 and located in Guryevsk, Kemerovo region — these hot-rolled equal-leg angle bars are manufactured to GOST 8509-93 and are offered in leg widths from 40 mm to 56 mm with wall thicknesses of 4 or 5 mm. The range covered spans sizes 40×40×4 through 56×56×5, cut to lengths of 3 to 12 metres and shipped in bundles of up to 5 tonnes.
Steel grades available include standard structural steels St0 and St1–5 SP/PS (GOST 380-2005), the higher-strength shipbuilding grade A40S (GOST 52927-2008), low-alloy structural steel 09G2S (GOST 19281-2014), and weathering-class C245 (GOST 27772-88); the 09G2S grade meets strength class 345. Rolling precision is ordinary category B, and surface quality for carbon-steel grades is group 1GP — ready for use without further surface preparation.
GMZ operates two open-hearth furnaces with a combined capacity of up to 210,000 tonnes of liquid steel per year, and its linear rolling mills — a 700-mill and a 500/400-mill — are easily reconfigured for a wide range of profiles including small production runs. All finished angles undergo straightening on roller machines and are bundled with metal straps bearing barcoded labels for traceability.
The plant holds formal certificates specifically for its hot-rolled equal angle bar product line.
