Smooth Ironing Roller VГ-2030 — VMZ

The Vyazma VG-2030 is a professional industrial ironing roller manufactured by Vyazemsky Machine Building Plant (АО «Вяземский машиностроительный завод»), a Russian producer of commercial laundry and dry-cleaning equipment headquartered in the Smolensk region. With a 2,000 mm ironing zone, a 300 mm diameter roller, and electric heating elements totalling 15 kW, the VG-2030 is engineered for high-capacity operations: hotel and resort laundries, hospital linen services, industrial textile processing, and any facility where consistent, high-throughput flat-work ironing is essential.

VMZ explicitly supplies the VG-2030 in full working configuration, distinguishing it from budget competitors who sell stripped machines and charge separately for every functional option. Included as standard is the Springpress winding system — galvanized coil springs beneath a needle-punched heat-resistant nonwoven fabric and a linen cover.

This architecture, used in the ironing rollers of more than 85% of leading world manufacturers, applies even pressure to the trough along its entire length regardless of seams, buttons, or fabric irregularities, and carries an unlimited rated service life. The chrome ironing trough adds anti-corrosion and anti-adhesion properties and distributes heat uniformly across the full 2-metre ironing surface.

Control intelligence is a further differentiator. A sensor system allows smooth, independent regulation of ironing speed (2–5 m/min) and temperature (100–200°C), while an intelligent ironing mode adapts output to the composition and thickness of each fabric batch.

Additional standard features include automatic servo-driven clamping, a built-in steam extraction fan ducted to the laundry ventilation system, a foot pedal for hands-free linen handling, and an emergency stop with a finger-protection circuit. The VG-2030 holds an EAEU Declaration of Conformity under Technical Regulation TR TS 010, valid through December 2029.
