Description

The Rasplav-Glass unit, which is a part of the RASPLAV complex of experimental units, is designed for testing the technology of one-stage vitrification of RAW by induction melting in a cold crucible at low current frequency. Generator power is 60 kW.

Current frequency at heating is 0.44 MHz. Mass of corium melt in the crucible - up to 100 kg.

Temperature of the melt - up to 1500 °C. Atmosphere above the melt - air.

Melt composition - phosphate or borosilicate glass + RAO
