KTC Metallkonstruktsiya JSC (АО «КТЦ «Металлоконструкция») is one of Russia's largest manufacturers and installers of metal road safety barriers, with several decades of industry experience. Its side barrier-type safety fence is a deformable steel guardrail system designed to prevent vehicles from leaving the carriageway or crossing into oncoming traffic on public roads, motorways, and bridge structures.
Available in single-sided (ДО) and bridge-type (МО) configurations — with single-, dual-, and triple-beam variants — the product covers ten retention capacity grades from class У1 (130 kJ) through У9 (550 kJ), plus European class H4b at 720 kJ per EN 1317. Overall barrier height ranges from 0.75 to 1.45 m, working width from 0.50 to 2.38 m, and dynamic deflection from 0.18 to 2.16 m; posts are spaced at 1 m centres.
Multiple post profiles are available — I-sections (Ш12–Ш16), channel sections (Д12–Д16), C-shaped, and U-shaped bent profiles — in post grade families СД, СМ, СМЦ, СМУ, and СМБ, including galvanised (Ц) variants. All steel components receive a hot-dip zinc coating per GOST 9.307 (minimum 80 µm on posts and beams, 60 µm on consoles, 30 µm on fasteners) or paint coatings per GOST 9.401.
Products comply with GOST 26804-2012, TU 5216-001-05765820-2007, and the EurAsEC Technical Regulation ТР ТС; they are certified by the Russian Road Safety Research Center (НИЦ БДД МВД России), and the manufacturer holds ISO 9001 and CE/EN certifications. KTC conducts dozens of full-scale crash tests annually at its own proving ground to continuously verify and improve barrier performance.
