The rheostat controller servomotor unit (SRMU) is designed to replace the standard drive of rheostat controllers EKG-39 and their modifications of 81-series underground cars during their modernisation and overhaul. The design of the SDRC unit is a welded aluminium bracket with a servomotor mounted on it.
The servomotor is mounted on the bracket using bolts, flat washers, spring washers and nuts. The servomotor outputs are fixed on the studs (contacts) of the terminal plate, which is mounted on the upper end of the bracket using bolts, spring washers, flat washers.
The studs of the terminal plate are labelled in accordance with the control circuit markings. The pinion gear is mounted on the servomotor shaft and secured with locking parts.
