The PSN-STERIMAG Self-Adhesive Combined Bag is a medical-grade sterilization packaging solution manufactured by MEGATECHNICA LLC under its MEDTEST brand — a Russian producer with over 22 years of expertise in sterilization packaging and healthcare disinfection equipment. Each bag consists of a transparent polyfilm front layer bonded to a non-woven back layer, combining an effective microbial barrier with the breathability required for sterilant penetration.
The construction is validated for all five principal hospital sterilization methods — steam (up to 150 °C), plasma/hydrogen-peroxide, ethylene oxide, radiation, and formaldehyde — making it among the most versatile single-bag formats available. Class 1 process indicators for steam and plasma sterilization are printed directly on the front face, providing instant pass/fail confirmation without separate indicator strips.
Closure is achieved through a self-adhesive flap on the bag, so no heat-sealing equipment is needed. Seams are thermally welded to a minimum width of 6 mm and sustain a minimum tensile strength of 1.5 N per 15 mm, while the non-woven layer meets a density of at least 37 g/m².
Bags are supplied 100 pieces per pack, with a shelf life of 5 years and a post-sterilization sterility retention period of up to 5 years. Available in ten standard sizes ranging from 150 × 600 mm to 400 × 600 mm.
