The R1-BKSh-200 is a horizontal screw conveyor for grain transportation manufactured by MELINVEST OJSC, one of Russia's foremost producers of post-harvest grain processing, drying, and storage equipment, based in Nizhny Novgorod. The conveyor moves grain and other bulk agricultural materials using a 200 mm diameter rotating auger with a 200 mm pitch enclosed in a sealed trough, with a loading inlet on one end and a discharge outlet on the other.
Rated throughput is at least 14 t/h, measured against standard parameters of 750 g/l bulk density and 17% grain moisture.
What sets the BKSh range apart is the anti-adhesion polyurethane coating applied to the continuous auger spiral, which reduces mechanical damage to grain and seeds during transport by two to five times compared to bare-steel screws, while also preventing plant oils from adhering to working surfaces. The spiral is further reinforced at its base, preserving its geometry under continuous load and maximising service life.
Drive options include Bauer (Germany) or Bonfiglioli (Italy) motor-gearboxes, enabling the rotation speed — and thus throughput — to be matched to the requirements of downstream equipment. The enclosed construction performs reliably under elevated humidity and variable temperature conditions, making the BKSh-200 a proven conveying component in grain elevators, post-harvest processing complexes, milling facilities, and compound-feed factories across Russia and the CIS.
