RESOL LLC (Recovery Solutions) is a Kazan-based Russian manufacturer whose entire engineering focus is on heat regeneration and recuperation technology for ventilation systems. Their rotary regenerator is the company's flagship product, purpose-built to recover thermal energy from exhausted indoor air and transfer it to incoming fresh air — directly reducing the energy consumed by heating in winter and cooling in summer.
The unit consists of a rigid steel housing enclosing an aluminum rotor driven by an electric motor through a belt transmission. The rotor is packed with alternating flat and corrugated aluminum foil strips that form a large number of smooth airflow channels; as the drum slowly rotates at 2–15 rpm, it continuously absorbs heat from the exhaust stream and releases it into the supply stream.
Peripheral brush seals keep cross-contamination of the two air streams below 3%. Wave height — offered in standard sizes from 1.4 to 2.0 mm — is the primary parameter governing efficiency versus pressure drop, giving HVAC designers the flexibility to optimise for their specific system.
Units are manufactured across a wide diameter range and are rated for continuous year-round operation from −30 °C to −65 °C. Thermal recovery efficiency reaches up to 86%, and rotor speed can be regulated by a variable-frequency drive for precise energy management.
The product is aimed primarily at manufacturers of air handling units and ventilation systems seeking a reliable, domestically produced heat-recovery rotor.
