Rotor regenerator is designed to increase the energy efficiency of climatic ventilation systems by returning to the served room heat energy and humidity from the removed air from the served room. When rotating, the rotor alternately heats up in the flow of warm exhaust air from the room and cools down, giving heat energy back to the flow of supply air into the room. Heat recovery efficiency up to 86%, moisture return efficiency up to 90%.
The diameter of the rotary heat exchanger is from 300 to 3000 mm, with a wave height pitch from 1.4 to 2.0 mm. Brush seals with polypropylene spacer are present around the perimeter of the rotary heat exchanger to minimise crossflow between extract and supply air. The rotary heat exchanger is rotated by means of a belt drive by a gearmotor.
The rotary heat exchanger has a speed of 10 rpm. The motor of the gearmotor is connected to 220V and 380V mains.
