Gas meters RVG are designed to measure volumes of purified and dried single and multi-component non-aggressive gases: natural gas, propane, air, nitrogen and other gases. RVG are mechanical devices, the rotation of which elements is carried out by the flow of the measured gas.Structurally, they consist of a housing, rear and front cover, base with bearings, two synchronously rotating in opposite direction rotors, multi-stage reducer, magnetic coupling and eight-digit roller counting mechanism.RVG gas meters operate on the principle of displacement of a strictly defined volume of gas by rotating rotors. The volume of displaced gas is determined by the volume of the measuring chamber of the counter formed by the inner surface of the body and the surfaces of the two synchronously rotating in opposite directions rotors and the volume of gas passed through the counter. Thus, one turn of the rotor system corresponds to the transfer of a certain volume of gas from the input of the counter to its output.
