Description

River evacuation device REU-3 is designed to ensure safe evacuation of passengers and crew of inland and mixed (river-sea) navigation vessels from a vessel in distress to collective rescue facilities without getting into the water.
River evacuation device REU-3 consists of:
- a slope providing safe descent of people of different age, height, weight and physical abilities, wearing life jackets to the floating platform and
- a floating platform providing safe landing of people from it into collective rescue vehicles. The platform provides simultaneous mooring of 3 life rafts of PSR-U type.
REU-3 is set in working position by one person and allows evacuating not less than 350 people for 30 minutes.
