Description

The PPO-9 (8+1) is a nine-body semi-mounted reversible plow manufactured by GKZ PJSC — Gryazinsky Cultivator Plant (Грязинский культиваторный завод), a Russian enterprise with over 60 years of specialization in tillage equipment. The plow is designed for general-purpose ploughing of various soil types to prepare ground for grain and industrial crops, working at depths between 15 and 30 cm.

Its reversible mechanism carries nine left-turning and nine right-turning bodies, each with a 50 cm working width, delivering a total working width of 2.97–4.5 m and a field capacity of up to 4 ha/h. The robust main beam is fabricated from seamless square tube (160×160×10 mm), and all bodies are protected from hidden obstructions by a sacrificial shear bolt.

The plow can operate both in-furrow and out-of-furrow, and accepts optional equipment including a soil consolidator, presowing disc coulters, and foreheads (predpluzhniks) for burying crop residue. Body moldboards are available in wing or full-surface profiles, and double support wheels can be fitted.

Transport speed reaches 15 km/h with a ground clearance of at least 350 mm, and dry machine weight is 4094 ± 123 kg.
