Resistivimeter 95 is designed to determine the volumetric resistance of the environment during drilling operations as part of a telemetry system. The principle of operation of resistivimeter is based on excitation of electromagnetic field in the environment with subsequent measurement of attenuation of amplitude and phase shift of electromagnetic wave in receiving antennas.
The volumetric resistance of the medium is calculated from the measurement results. Measurements of rock conductivity are made at frequencies of 2 MHz and 400 kHz.
The resistivimeter is powered by a telesystem with a nominal voltage of 36V.
