Description

The RETOM-25 is a relay protection parameter measurement and test device developed and manufactured by NPP Dinamika (Dynamics LLC), the Russian maker of the RETOM family of test sets used on power facilities from 0.38 to 1150 kV. It retains the full functionality of the well-known RETOM-21 while weighing only 19 kg in a compact 340 × 430 × 205 mm case with a removable lid, so it can be operated upright or flat and carried to site work easily.

The unit delivers up to 200 A of output current and up to 1400 VA of output power (extendable to 5000 VA with the RET-3000 and RET-VAH-2000 auxiliary blocks), with an output voltage of 250 V for plotting volt-ampere characteristics of current transformers. It tests all types of electromechanical relays, 6-10-35 kV microprocessor protections, RCDs, instrument current and voltage transformers, auto-reclosers, high-voltage and automatic circuit breakers, contactors and starters.

An electronic regulator sets outputs in steps of 0.1% of range, frequency is adjustable from 20 to 1000 Hz with 0.001 Hz resolution, and the device runs standalone or under PC control with supplied software. The RETOM-25 is entered in the official measuring-instrument registers of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty and has a 4-year calibration interval.
