A smoke blower is a draft blowing machine designed to move flue and other gases or dust-air mixture.
Blower - rotating vane machine, transferring mechanical energy of gas in one or more impellers, causing thus
continuous flow of gas at its maximum relative compression, and is designed to move the medium in the gas-air path of boiler and other technological installations. Radial draught blower - a draught blower with the direction of meridional velocity of gas flow at the inlet to the impeller parallel and at the outlet from the impeller perpendicular to the axis of its rotation. Flue gases - gases produced by combustion of organic substances with dust content up to 2 g/m3.
Dust-air mixture - mixture of air with crushed solid particles with dustiness more than 2 g/m3. Air - air medium with dust content not exceeding 10 mg/m3.
Gas-air mixture - a mixture of air with other gases with dustiness not exceeding 10 mg/m3.
