Designed for the transfer of rolling stock from one track to another. It is used on the main tracks in railway lines with mixed cargo-passenger train traffic and speeds of passenger trains on the straight track up to 140 km/hour.
Design features: transfers: separate fastening, elastic bar terminals Skl or terminals of PC type, pads with flanges, with subsequent welding of rail joints in the track by aluminium-thermite method; switches: flexible shackles with welded rail ends, elastic U-shaped spring terminals, welded pads with cushions; crossbars: prefabricated with rail whiskers and cast core of high manganese steel with welded rail ends; counter-rail of SP850 angle.
