Description

The accelerating valve is designed to reduce the brake actuation time by reducing the compressed air start line from the air receiver to the actuator and releasing air directly through the accelerating valve into the atmosphere. The atmospheric outlet is fitted with a silencer designed to reduce the noise generated by the brake unit when the air is discharged during operation to the values prescribed by UN Regulation No. 51.
