PRISM SPECIAL DUAL is the 3D printer with the largest print area. Prism Special Dual is used by design institutes, architectural studios, design offices, design studios, advertising agencies, and art workshops. It has also found its application in factories, educational and medical institutions.
It creates an object layer by layer by extruding plastic filament. The print head is suspended on six diagonals, articulated with three carriages making vertical movements. At the same time, the print head makes a plane-parallel motion in space. The main advantage of this scheme is that when printing the model is fixed on the table, and the print head rises along the axis of the model, printing layer by layer. Also, due to the light weight of the head, the printing speed is faster than other printers. This design allows printing tall and complex figures up to 400mm diameter and 1240mm high.
