The OR 1600W 1U is a rack-mount server power supply unit designed and manufactured in Russia by ORIX LLC (ООО «Орикс»), a Moscow-based electronics producer established in 2020. Registered in Russia's industrial products registry (GISP) and certified under EAEU conformity requirements — TR TS 004/2011, TR TS 020/2011, and TR EAES 037/2016 — it is a fully domestically developed product with no direct Russian-made analog.
The unit delivers 1600 W of nominal output power in a compact 1U form factor measuring 73 × 185 × 40 mm, achieving Platinum-class efficiency of 94% to minimize energy waste in high-density server environments. Its wide-range AC input (90–264 V, 47–63 Hz, maximum 15 A) accommodates diverse grid conditions.
Output is distributed via a 2×25 Power Card Edge connector, with the +12 V rail capable of supplying up to 132 A across multiple channels, plus a dedicated 3 A standby rail. A 40 mm internal cooling fan maintains safe thermal operation up to 50 °C ambient, with noise levels capped at ≤64 dB.
Hot-swap capability allows the unit to be replaced under live load without shutting down the server, while PMBus support provides real-time telemetry and intelligent power management. Six independent protection circuits — covering short circuits, over- and under-voltage, overcurrent, overload, and thermal events — safeguard connected hardware.
MTBF is rated at 30,000 hours; the unit carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty and a rated service life of five years at ambient temperatures up to 30 °C.
