The AVR Spirit 5200 is a two-row trailed potato harvester built by AVR, a Belgian manufacturer with decades of expertise in root-crop machinery, and supplied to Russian agricultural enterprises through KOLNAG LLC. Designed around AVR's core principles of reliability and gentle crop handling, the Spirit 5200 stands out for its fully mechanical driveline: all six sieving and finger conveyors are powered directly from the tractor's PTO through gearboxes and driveshafts, doing away with hydraulic drives and their associated complexity.
The lateral side-undercutting digging unit gives the operator a clear forward sightline and allows pairing with wide-track tractors without row-spacing conflicts. A 6-tonne bunker handles long harvest runs, with a maximum unloading height of 4,200 mm for convenient transfer into trailers.
Wide tyres spread the machine's load across a large footprint, reducing soil compaction in sensitive field conditions. Machine dimensions are 10,500 × 3,300 × 3,940 mm with a 1,800 mm working width and 2,440 mm wheel track.
With optional attachments, the Spirit 5200 also handles table beet and onion, making it a versatile investment for diversified farms.
