The Spirokom spirographic complex is a compact PC-based spirometer developed by MEDPROMINZHINIRING LLC, a Moscow manufacturer that, together with Telemedicine Technologies, runs the Center for Functional Diagnostics Technologies and produces a full line of diagnostic equipment under the AriaMed brand — electrocardiographs, Holter monitors, fetal monitors, electroencephalographs, rheographs and spirographs. Weighing no more than 250 g, the device connects to a computer over USB and records airflow with a differential pressure sensor, a design that needs no replaceable measuring meshes or turbines and keeps contaminated particles away from the measuring element.
The unit measures air volumes in the 0–8 range, runs from a 12 V supply, operates at 10–35 °C and fits in a 210×160×65 mm footprint, with a declared service life of 7 years. The software displays the flow–volume curve against selected norm scales in real time, lets the clinician build custom examination templates, generates automatic interpretation reports, compares results in dynamics and across functional tests, plots trends of calculated parameters and exports data.
BTPS correction coefficients are computed automatically without entering climatic readings. With reusable interchangeable breathing tubes and mouthpieces and the ability to operate as part of a telemedicine complex, the Spirokom suits both routine pulmonary function testing and remote diagnostics programs.
