The field portable telephone apparatus "TA-88" (hereinafter - TA) is designed for operation over two-wire and four-wire communication lines in the modes of local battery and central battery. "TA-88" can be used for remote control of a radio station. Parallel inclusion of up to four devices in one line is possible.
TA is designed for operation at ambient air temperature from minus 40 to plus 55 °? and relative humidity up to 98 % at 35 °?.
TA provides serviceability under impact loads with acceleration up to 147 m/sec. sq., condensed precipitation (frost and dew), at a reduced atmospheric pressure of 12 kPa, after a free fall from a height of 750 mm, the impact of mould fungi, solar radiation, dynamic dust (sand), sea fog.
The TA is equipped with a shoulder strap for easy carrying. TA weight is not more than 3 kg (without batteries).
TA service life - 20 years.
