Gas analysers have portable and stationary version.
Gas analysers consist of indication unit (stationary or portable), power supply unit (remote or built-in), switching unit (for stationary version) and sensor units (for stationary version - from 1 to 16 pcs., for portable version - from 1 to 4 pcs.), the number of which depends on the number of control points. Each sensor unit can contain up to 4 measurement channels. If there is one sensor unit in the gas analyser, it can be structurally placed in the indication unit.
The principle of operation of the sensor unit is based on the measurement of the currents of the sensing elements (sensors), which depend on the content of the component to be detected in the air.
Stationary version of the gas analysers has an indication unit with analogue (current) and/or digital output and can have a digital indication on the liquid crystal display.
