The Gurza-038PZ is a perimeter security intrusion detector of the tribo-vibration type, developed and manufactured by SKIZEL (SKICHEL Group), a Russian company specialising in perimeter protection systems for high-security facilities. The detector is designed to reveal attempts to penetrate a site by digging a tunnel under the perimeter fence.
Its sensing element is a combination of a vibration cable and a triboelectric cable buried beneath the soil surface along the fence line, forming a single guarded zone of up to 1000 m with a declared detection probability of 0.98. The signal-processing unit accepts 8 to 35 V DC from an uninterruptible power source and draws only milliamp-level current, while the equipment remains operational across an extreme temperature range from -60 to +50 degrees Celsius.
The product is covered by the manufacturer's transport-security certification, and the 'Version 1' variant of the detector is listed in the unified register of Russian radio-electronic products maintained by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. SKIZEL backs the standard detector with an 8-year warranty (10 years for Version 1), and its Gurza-series equipment is used by major Russian state and industrial organisations, including energy, transport and infrastructure operators.
