WINGSBEE optical separator is a Russian software and hardware complex with NIR-technology, designed for automatic recognition and sorting of solid municipal waste.
Working principle. Waste at a speed of up to 3.5 m/s moves along a conveyor belt.
On the detection line, an optical module determines the type of material by hyperspectral (NIR) and/or photometric (VIS) method. Separation takes place by shooting the object out of the general flow with compressed air.
The material to be sorted is:
-Thermoplastics - PET, PP, PVC, PS, LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE;
-Waste paper - paper, cardboard;
-Wood - wood, sawdust;
-Aluminium and iron products;
-Materials with low chlorine content for RDF-fuel production.
