Odorant dosing unit (hereinafter referred to as ODU) is designed for dosing liquid ethylmercaptan (odorant) into the gas flow at the gas distribution station or UPTPG. The composition of the UDO: 1)Consumption tank (E6-1); 2)Valve dosing system (UZR6-1); 3)Manual dosing system; 4)Ejection (E6-1), deodorisation (Dr6-1), emergency discharge system; 5)Inert/natural gas supercharging system; 6)Fittings and pipelines. The operation of the odouriser is controlled by the control unit BU-105, which is installed in an explosion-proof room.
Odorant dosing is carried out either in automatic mode or in manual mode. Automatic mode: Dosing is carried out by means of electromagnetic valve (ECD6-1). UZR6-1 keeps record of the dispensed odorant through ECD6-1 and corrects the signal.
Manual mode: Dosing is carried out by means of a doser (D6-1). Odorant is taken from E6-1, odorant consumption is monitored by the scale of level indicator (UU6-1).
