Number antimagnetic control seal "IMP SILMAG" is designed to register unauthorised interference in the operation of metering devices (electricity, gas, heat meters, etc.) by exposure to an external magnetic field sufficient to stop the metering device or distort its readings. The magnetic field indicator (MFI) is made of two permanent cylindrical magnets in the housing. In the initial state in the absence of an external magnetic field (magnet) the indicator magnets are in conjunction with each other on the radius cylindrical side.
When the external magnet acts on the CPM, the indicator magnets start to strive towards it and rotate with the corresponding pole. After the magnetic field disappears, the indicator magnets mate on the flat side, with their respective poles. This turning and mating is a one-time operation.
A triggered IMP cannot be returned to its original, non-triggered state without destroying the housing and physical impact.
