The purpose of the vessel is to transport soil from the dredging (cleaning) area to the place of special dumping.
Vessel type - non-self-propelled soil-transportation chaland. Project - NSH-70.
RRR class - "R1,2".
The construction and strength of the vessel correspond to the purpose. The hull of the vessel is all-welded.
Material - shipbuilding steel of "A" grade.
The hull is cross-sectional.
There is a double bottom in the area of the cargo hold. Synthetic paint and varnish coatings are used to protect the hull from corrosion.
In comparison with the previous project NSH 58, the hold capacity of NSH 70 has been increased from 60 to 70 cubic metres.
The navigation area corresponds to the category "R" of the Russian River Register:
inland water basins of category "R" with wave height of 1 per cent
with wave height of 1% probability not more than 1,2m and wind speed up to 17m/s. .
