The MIRTЕК-12-RU in SP2 housing is a single-phase multifunction electricity meter manufactured by MIRTEK LLC, designed specifically for pole mounting on low-voltage overhead distribution lines. It fully complies with Russian Government Decree No.
890 dated 19 June 2020, which establishes the minimum feature set for smart metering systems, making it eligible for mass AMI rollouts by Russian distribution network companies. The device measures active and reactive electrical energy in both forward and reverse directions, enabling support for prosumer installations with distributed generation.
At 230 V nominal and a base current of 5 A, the SP2 handles maximum currents up to 80 A and achieves Class 1 accuracy for both active energy (ГОСТ 31819.21-2012) and reactive energy (ГОСТ 31819.23-2012). The operating temperature range of –40 to +70 °C combined with IP54 ingress protection ensures reliable year-round performance in outdoor environments across all Russian climate zones.
Multiple built-in communication interfaces — 433 MHz radio, 2400 MHz radio, an optical port per IEC 61107-2011, and a combined GSM/GPRS + NB-IoT module — provide flexible connectivity to AMI head-end systems. Anti-tamper safeguards include electronic seals on the housing and terminal cover, a magnetic field sensor, and a hardware-locked load control relay.
A 16-year calibration interval and a declared service life of at least 30 years underpin low lifetime operating costs.
