The headlamp is intended to illuminate the road from the front of a motorbike, moped or similar vehicle in such a way as not to cause excessive dazzle or inconvenience to drivers of oncoming vehicles and other road users, to illuminate the road at a long distance from the front of the vehicle, and to indicate the presence of the vehicle in the dark.
