The BMOS is a block-modular biological wastewater treatment system manufactured by EKOPROMKOMPANIYA LLC, a Vladimir-based Russian company that has specialised in water treatment and purification equipment since 2006. Designed for the equalization and full biological treatment of domestic and household sewage — as well as industrially generated effluents of comparable composition — each BMOS unit delivers treated water quality that meets Russian discharge norms for fishery-designated surface water bodies, including UV disinfection of the final effluent.
Every unit ships factory-complete, with all process and auxiliary equipment pre-installed inside a standard ISO shipping container. The container exterior is clad in galvanised sheet steel; the interior features polystyrene foam insulation and a purpose-engineered electric heating system, enabling continuous operation in the Russian Far North and other extreme cold climates.
Interior finishes include waterproof plywood framing, ribbed metal flooring, and PVC-lined walls and ceilings. All process pipework and equipment are fabricated from stainless steel or PVC.
The treatment sequence progresses through six integrated stages: an equalisation tank with built-in sand trap and early-stage denitrification; lamella-module primary settling with automatic bag-filter sludge dewatering; a bioreactor implementing nitrification, denitrification, and biological phosphorus removal under dissolved-oxygen-controlled fine-bubble aeration; an aerated floating-media biofilter for effluent polishing; and a cavitation-enhanced UV steriliser for final disinfection. The control system is fully automated — compressed airflow adjusts in real time based on oxygen concentration, and sludge handling runs without operator intervention.
The system is certified and carries a sanitary-hygienic clearance, backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
