The microprocessor-controlled shoulder prosthesis consists of individually fitted receiving and supporting sleeves made of injection moulded laminated plastic on the basis of acrylic resins, a plastic elbow-forearm unit in flesh colour, a brush with an electronic control system with a high-strength silicone cosmetic shell in flesh colour reinforced with nylon mesh. Externally, the brush shell corresponds in the smallest detail to a living human hand (skin colour, papillary lines, veins, nails, joints). The change of electrical potentials arising from the contraction of the muscles of the stump of the upper arm allows the fingers of the artificial hand to be spread and vaulted with fixation of the fingers in the "Grip" position.
