The MMN 228 is a medium-temperature wall-mounted monoblock refrigeration unit produced by Mariholodmash (МХМ), a brand of AO Kontakt — a Russian industrial manufacturer headquartered in Yoshkar-Ola, Republic of Mari El. The monoblock integrates the compressor, condenser, and evaporator into a single compact housing (735 × 850 × 720 mm, net weight 68 kg), allowing direct through-wall installation without the need for a separate machinery room or refrigerant pipework.
It maintains chamber temperatures between −5 and +5 °C in rooms with a recommended volume up to 28 m³, covering a broad range of medium-temperature cold-storage requirements. The unit runs on a three-phase 380 V supply, draws a nominal current of 12 A, and consumes no more than 23 kWh per day, keeping operating costs competitive for continuous cold-room operation.
