Dredger with mechanical ripper. The drive of the mechanical ripper is mounted in the forward part of the frame of the soil intake device. A ground pump with a double casing of wear-resistant design is installed in the engine room.
The ground pump is driven via an elastic coupling and gearbox from the diesel engine, which is also located in the engine room on the same ship's foundation as the ground pump. The dredger is non-self-propelled and is transported to the place of work by tugboat. The aft interpontoon flange connection has an eye designed for towing the dredger and pulling out its load.
The working movement of the dredger by the pile-rope method is carried out by means of piling winches and pile-lifting winches. The piling winches are located on the bow of the dredger and the piling winches on the stern gantry, together with the backstay winch for the backstroke. The frame winch is located on the bow gantry.
