The principle of action of P6-231/3 antennas is to convert the energy flux density of the electromagnetic field into its corresponding high-frequency power in the path. To expand the possibilities and ensure compatibility with different types of measuring equipment, horn antennas P6-231/3 can be completed with waveguide-waveguide and coaxial-waveguide transitions.
The design provides the possibility of mounting the antenna on a tripod, by means of the AK-16 Mounting Assembly (included in the delivery). Features: recommended for metrological applications and experimental research; has low gain irregularity and low VSWR; can be used to measure radiation field parameters of antenna systems, parameters of electromagnetic compatibility of radio-electronic devices and material parameters; depending on the delivery variant can be completed with WR19/V(f) and/or interchannel waveguide transition WR19 to a cross-section of 5.2 x 2.6 mm.
