The lower limb and torso appliance is an orthosis system that covers both limbs and the patient's torso. It consists of two full leg apparatuses and a supportive corset. The finished product either keeps the recipient completely upright or allows movement due to intact joints.
Receiving sleeves of the device are made of thermoplastic. Types of attachment: straps or adhesive tapes. Hip, knee and ankle joints can facilitate or block movement.
A corset or semi-corset provides additional support for the spine, its height and stiffness depends on the recipient's needs.
The corset is secured by a rigid strap with length adjustment and a lock on the front of the orthosis.
For some patients, an additional element is placed to relieve the sciatic nerve.
Each finished product is made individually.
