Low-voltage complete device (LVD) is designed to receive and distribute electric power of three-phase alternating current with frequency of 50 Hz and voltage of 0,4 kV in networks with deaf-earthed or insulated neutral.
In addition to protection against short-circuit currents and overloads, the switchgear provides automatic switching of consumers to the power supply from the backup power source in case of voltage loss at the main input, including:
- Automatic start of the standby power supply.
- Switching after generator warm-up, when the generator voltage stabilises.
- Automatic switching to power supply from the main power source when it is restored.
