The PL-15P is a tractor-driven lagoon pump for homogenizing and handling liquid manure in livestock waste lagoons. A 457 mm four-blade steel impeller, driven at 1,000 rpm from a tractor of around 180 hp, develops a feed of 2,200 (per manufacturer data) at pressures up to 30, mixing settled solids back into suspension so the lagoon contents can be pumped out for field application.
The nozzle (101 mm diameter) adjusts 300 mm horizontally and 70 mm vertically via a hydraulic distribution block powered from the tractor's hydraulic system, letting the operator direct the jet to break crusts across the lagoon surface. The pump handles media with density up to 1,200 kg/m³ at temperatures from 0 to 40°C, measures 3,200 mm in working width and weighs 2,255 kg.
