The Kirovets K-708PK6 is a heavy-duty wheeled front loader produced by Saint Petersburg Tractor Plant (PTZ), one of Russia's oldest continuous heavy-machinery manufacturers. With a nominal payload of 6 tonnes and an ISO/SAE bucket volume of 3.6 m³, the K-708PK6 is built for loading and transporting bulk and lump materials without pre-loosening, as well as earthmoving on soils up to Category III.
Power comes from the ЯМЗ-238НД3-6 — an eight-cylinder, V-configuration, liquid-cooled diesel rated at 173 kW (235 hp) at 1,700 rpm with a maximum torque of 1,108 Nm. The automated hydromechanical transmission with torque converter spans two operating modes (working and transport), each offering two forward and two reverse ratios, for eight ratios in total.
An all-new hydraulic system cuts the full work cycle to just 12 seconds, delivering measurably higher shift productivity than the previous generation. The two-seat SMART cab is standard-equipped with air conditioning, a FOPS/ROPS safety cage, sound insulation, and the lever-free КОМАНДПОСТ control system with joystick boom-and-bucket operation; optional telematics feed real-time data to cloud storage.
Operating weight is 20,000 kg, maximum speed 38 km/h, and a 600-litre fuel tank supports long-shift operation. The machine is available in arctic and tropical versions and accepts a wide range of interchangeable attachments.
